Education

Children

Currently, there are over 50 youngsters regularly attending Sunday School. The Shine curriculum is used in the preschool, primary, and middler classes. This spring the focus is on the New Testament, with the theme “Meet Jesus, the Messiah: Stories from John”. WorshipArts is another way in which we nurture the faith of our Kindergarten-5th grade students.

Youth

We have an active youth fellowship for junior high (grades 6 – 8) and senior high (grades 9-12) youth. Each level has 2-3 sponsors and regular monthly activities. Each summer the senior youth have had the opportunity to participate in a service trip or Mennonite Church USA Conference. Our church also includes a budget line item to support each student attending a Mennonite college.

Adult

Our adult education program offers a choice of electives during each quarter of the year except summer. The classes are open to adult (beyond high school) members and friends. The electives are chosen by a committee, which seeks to offer classes in bible, theology, social issues, peace and justice, psychology, philosophy, spiritual growth and other relative subjects on a regular basis. The primary goal is to help adults grow in faith and ministry.
